The prayer was written for me, but as the author noted, it can be easily modified for anyone facing similar circumstances. I grant that permission freely.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, Enduring G-d, Creator of the Universe, we lift up Dan Kleinman into Your Hands. Please keep a hedge of protection around him and guard his life as he does work that has drawn sustained public criticism and legal actions. Protect his life. Our children need voices willing to speak on these issues. He is on the front lines of this debate over what materials belong in school libraries.
We pray for You to help the productivity of Dan’s voice and words to be multiplied and heard more widely, so that concerns about graphic s*xual content in books aimed at young children can be examined openly. Please continue to work through and in Dan and bless him and his family. Please continue to renew, refuel, and strengthen Dan Kleinman in all aspects of his life. Minister to his soul when he contends for those who are too young to speak for themselves.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have moved Dan to stand up for children in kindergarten through eighth grade who cannot advocate for themselves. Thank you for giving them a voice. Please hold Dan up as this public debate continues. Bring help. Holy Spirit, come. Please, Lord Jesus, give him hope and give him signs that his efforts are useful.
Lord, You remain on the Throne and reign.

G-d Almighty, please give Dan Kleinman’s work on these library issues increase.
John 8:31-32 (ESV): “So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, ‘If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”
Righteousness and truth prevail over darkness. Please bless and multiply Dan’s efforts, multiply who sees them, and bring clarity where graphic s*xual content is being placed before young children. We pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
